Most of Bob Marley's early music was recorded with Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer, who together with Marley were the most prominent members of the Wailers. In 1972, the Wailers had their first hit outside Jamaica when Johnny Nash covered their song "Stir It Up", which became a UK hit. The 1973 album Catch a Fire was released worldwide, and sold well. It was followed by Burnin', which included the song "I Shot the Sheriff". Eric Clapton's cover of the song became a hit in 1974.

Debut is the second studio album by Icelandic singer-songwriter Björk. The album was released in July 1993 on One Little Indian Records in the United Kingdom and Elektra Records in the United States. Björk worked on the album with producer Nellee Hooper who co-wrote five of Debut's songs with her. The album mostly consists of love songs relating to subjects such as her boyfriend Dominic Thrupp, her producer Nellee Hooper and to love of life itself. Немало для этого сделал продюсер Флемминг Расмусенн, продюсировавший также несколько альбомов Металлики. Вершина творчества мятежного графа. К уже имевшимся мизантропии и уходу в себя прибавилась ещё и ощущение безысходности. Глас Варга стал носить индустриальный оттенок (якобы не гармонайзер, а самый паршивый микрофон в студии:-)). Гитары тоже стали какими-то жужжащее-звенящими, с призвуком мнимой электронщины. Однозначный шедевр – Тьма (медленная мелодия, удивительные монументальные клавиши и вкрапления чистого, плачущего голоса Викернеса) , на которую был снят потрясный клип, являющий миру древнескандинавские руны на фоне дикой, мрачной и величественной природы.
